Emellia Shariff
If you don't know Em, you obviously don't know the Malaysian Debating scene.
Being a high committee member of the UT MARA Debating Society for two years in a row, Emellia Shariff is all hard work, perserverance and team work. She has been the Co-Convener for at least six tournaments, a testament to her organizational skills and experiences.
Emellia joined debate because she wanted to be a funny speaker. Though that has failed terribly, her love and passion for debate grow stronger. She was recently the Semi-finalist for ABP Jakarta and the current junior category national champion in the country. Emellia has won 3 tournaments and bagged countless best speaker prizes. She was also the Deputy Chief Adjudicator for UT MARA's internal tournament and has been breaking as an adjudicator at various tournaments like UADC Macau, ABP Bangladesh, Intramurous Philippines and many others.

Jason Wee
Graduating from DJ in 2013, Jason has technically coached the kids since his senior year.
Jason captained the DJ Debate Society in 2013. Being the golden child of Mai himself, Jason ascended into the debating scene fairly quickly. Best known as one of the Top 6 WSDC debaters that represented Malaysia to Turkey, he only hopes for more to follow his footsteps.
Jason was also the Deputy Chief Adjudicator for Kolej Yayasan Saad Debating Championship 2014 and broke as an adjudicator in multiple IVs. During debate seasons, he can be found slouched over his laptop, taking notes from the latest debate videos. He is well known for preying on new interclass debaters to turn into debate addicts. Jason still helps to prey on student in the process of recruiting new members even after he has graduated from high school.
He was part of the team that won the Thai World Schools Debating Championship and MMU IV in 2012. As a DJ debater, he lead the team to win the Penang Debate Open and HELP Interschool.
